Art.Ing. Passivation of stainless steels
The need to provide products for use in highly corrosive environments, such as the marine one, has led us to create a department within Art.ing dedicated to the pickling and passivation of stainless steel components. We have tanks measuring 2000 mm x 1000 mm x 1300 mm that allow us to work by immersion on medium-sized components. The pickling and passivation baths comply with ASTM A380 and ASTM A967 standards. Like the anodic oxidation process, the passivation process has also been qualified by the Leonardo Sistemi e Difesa group, including Art.ing in the register of Special Processes suppliers.
